Anijet e drejtuara nga organizatat humanitare, marina italiane dhe rojet bregdetare, kanë ndihmuar në shpëtimin e rreth katër mijë e 500 emigrantëve të enjten, ndërkohë qetësia në Detin Mesdhe është kthyer, duke nxitur një valë të nisjeve të emigrantëve nga Afrika Veriore.
